There are servals important points you should remember about Feature Class and Raster Dataset:
To Feature Class:
  1)Each feature class has a business,feature(F),and spatial index(S) table
  2)Each feature in the F-table has one row of attribute in business
  3)A trigger(触发器)maintains the integrity of the three,supporting feature class tables
  4)Each feature class has a GUID(global unique identifer)that associates it with software on the client computer that important its behavior
To raster Dataset:
  1)Each raster dataset has five tables:business,RAS,AUX,BND,and BLK
  2)The BLK table stores a raster's pixel data,making it the largest table
  3) Geodatabase raster dataset support one raster per business table
