转个贴了,不一定有用,<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 border=0><TR><TD class=tdColor2><FONT color=#000000 size=+1>[ArcGIS] Working between ArcGIS and Access</FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD class=tdColor1 vAlign=top><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=5 width="100%" border=0><TR><TD class=tdColor1 vAlign=top width="100%"><FONT color=#000000>Author: <a href="mailtl.wood target="_blank" >Louisa Wood</A> (NA)
Date: 04-29-2004 20:41 ------_=_NextPart_001_01C42E64.6BC86900 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi, This is more of an Access question but I thought I'd post it here anyway. I have been importing the .dbf file from the GIS info into Access to edit the attribute data , re-exporting it as a .dbf and that .dbf has been the new attribute table for the geographic data. However, I have recently done this for some data, and am trying to re-import the dbf files into Access, but I get the following error: Error 3015 "Index Not Found" This does not occur when I try to import other dbf files, so it is a problem unique to these new data. When I search on the web the only explanation I can find talks about needing to create a registry key to bypass the Borland Database Engine (BDE). I have never heard of this - is it something that installs with Access? How does it function and why is it only causing a problem with importing some dbf files and not others? How do I repair this problem? My process for editing the dbf files was: 1) Import dbf into access as table 2) update according to another access table 3) export table as dbf I have done this many times before and never had a problem..... any ideas? Thanks! </FONT></TD></TR></TABLE></TD></TR></TABLE> |

Date: 04-22-2002 09:18 Thanks to all who responded. By the responses, I'm not the first to run into this problem. It seems that this is just another "feature" of ArcMap. Hopefully ESRI will fix this soon... Marshall Thompson provided two methods for adding tables to the map. The first is to take my Excel file and insert it as a tabular object (I tried, but it didn't work-I'll try again...), and the other method is the ole cut-and-paste method, which did work for me. In both methods, the table(s) should be formatted in Excel prior to adding to your map. Bill Original Question: Hi folks- I am creating a city-wide map with a grid. I want to display several tables on my map that gives the street and the grid nos. where they can be found. I can add tables to the data frame, make changes under properties, and to their appearances (font type-color-size). Very time consuming and cumbersome. Everything looks fine at this point. I save and quit. Now my problem arises when I re-open the map, the properties revert back to their original settings (fields reappear that were turned off, and aliases disapprear), and it doesn't fill the frame on the map. Yet, when I open the table, all the setting are still true. Is there a way to "lock" down the frame with the table in it? It is getting old having to delete the tables and re-add them to the map. Could there be an easier way to do this?? Thanks in advance, and I will sum. -- Bill A'Hearn </FONT></TD></TR></TABLE></TD></TR></TABLE> |
