2007-08-29<BR>　　Rongelap Atoll, Marshall Islands, 1998<BR>　　Photograph by Emory Kristof<BR>　　Broken ceiling pieces dangle over deserted pews in a church on Rongelap Atoll, which was contaminated by fallout from the U.S. nuclear test on the Bikini Atoll, 100 miles (161 kilometers) away.
