　1272. Decorated with a painting of John F. Kennedy and eclectic knick-knacks, YJ‘s Snack Bar in the Crossroads Arts District is frequented by Kansas City‘s most colorful locals. "Expect to see post-hippies, armchair philosophers, and the occasional passerby lounging on multicolored metal chairs resembling the ones you sat on in high school, complete with bookracks below the seats," said photographer Brooks Walker.

1271. Men train in the martial art of Muay Thai in a boxing camp in Bangkok. Muay Thai was originally a military self-defense technique used in hand-to-hand combat. It has now evolved into an international sport.
